Ok here's the deal. A poor seal on the red and blue tube. And green but, The red and blue tubes need to be pulled out, drained, cleaned and refilled. A scum builds up and 'clouds' the picture. Is this what we're going after??

the blue tube has plenty of brightness. individually, the red and green make perfect pictures, but the blue looks like looking through blue water at shadowy stuff on the bottom. (if that makes any sense). if you adjust the focus on the blue, it makes the figures appear somewhat sharper or blurrier, but you still cant actually see people or objects. when using the manual convergence, you can barely make out the blue cross hatch. but you can tell its well out of center. the trouble is that it wont stay where you set it after saving. when you go back in, its just where it was before. could the blue tube be that far out of focus or do you think it probably needs a new convergence ics?

if the blue color cant be lined up with others you have convergence issues,but that color would still be bright just not lined up.convergence ics probably stk392-110.

Is the convergence out or is the blue tube 'out' of focus? Are the blue lines squiggly? More info.

i have a 2002 phillips tv mod # 55pp935217. when you cover the blue and red crt's or the blue and green, the picture is perfect in the uncovered color. but when you leave only the blue uncovered the picture is barely visable. i put a new focus block on it, but the problem did not change. also, there are times when there is text on the screen that you can see the text in blue above and somewhat diagonal from where it should be. thanks in advance for any help.
