My JVC GR DVX4 is exactly the same, and also stopped working after about the same amount of time!!! Whats going on? ANybody managed to find out what the problem is or anybody spoken to JVC? |

i have since a month exactly the same problem than you on my camcorder GR-DVX4E : white screens but possible reading on TV-out or read/write on PC by the DV-in /DV-out... i'm begining to think that's not a hazard : maybe JVC has programed that trouble on a date, after 5 years of service ?? Do u have found the service manual ? Do u have found a reason of that trouble ? Thank a lot for an answer... Boypub |

| Hi,
I m looking for schematic and service manual for my camcorder GR-DVX4E. I think that the one for GR-DVX7 or Thomson VMD9 would be helpfull since that they are equivalent. The problem with my GR-DVX4 is that i m no more able to film with it : i have a white screen. Reading my already recoded tapes is still working on the tv-out and the dv-out but not on the LCD screen of my camcorder. Lot of thanks. |
