Question Testing resistance on 300 mill volt setting on a fluke VOM! Not sure I understand? Need to measure resistance on ohms scale setting--- not volt.

In camparison with analog meters, digital readings always lag due to inherit delay in reading/processing/displaying sequence. There has been tremendous improvements over the years but in comparison, Analog meter movement will have a faster response to fluctuation.

For example , I was testing the resistance of my anti-freeze with the meter on 300 mil. volt , it was 163 and then it started counting down over about 15 minttes. and ended up at 62 mil. volt. Why do digital vom do this. Analog meters dont seem to do this.
