common fault on these sets is poor connections on the 2 flash roms. remove them from their holders and solder them directly to the pcb, doing this seems to cure over 75% of faults on these sets |

Board level repair, I'd suspect the power supply. It's a UK model so I don't have access to the schematics. |

I have a jvc lcd tv model number LT-26C31BJE that is semi dead, when plug in, 2 click sounds can be heard like the set and transformers are switching on, but no standby light on? also the fan constantly is on when plug in, can anyone shed some light? as i cant think what it could be? |
