Take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts on the base and phone. |

Did you take a meter and see if there's voltage on the base pins? |

generally speaking, these are a specialist repair item- but I have in the past fixed a few by resoldering suspect areas- in this case, check/r/s from the batt up- warning- smd- needs skill- if you don'thave, don't even attempt!. |

and before that happened it used to stop working all of a sudden but come back alive after a 'rest' on the base Now it will not turn on at all(nor talk/batt_low diodes) even with new battery. Here is the 3908 schematic http://geocities.com/anglomont/nb3908.jpg; q15 and q101 seem ok, any ideas? tnx... |
