| i got the same TV and was wondering if there is a way to reset the password for the RCA inputs. I got it from a friend and it asks for a 4 digit password because the two RCA inputs are locked. I asked the previous owner and she knows nothing as to why they would be. She said they never were before. |

| Try the vertical output IC Might be bad or just poor solder connections. It is IC 401. Also check IC 707 9v regulator for low output. A leaky C920 can cause shutdown also. |

| I have a 40" rear screen projection Mitsubishi VS4001R which won't turn on properly. When I turn it on, using either the remote or the power button on the front, it turns on (I hear the normal noise when it makes when it turns on) but then powers itself down almost immeidately. Any ideas on what's causing this behavior and/or how to remedy it? |
