What do you mean by ,"they extended it". ? You mean because of a defect or a recall on the part...?

Hello Everyone,

This is my first visit and Post here. I hope someone can help. I have a problem with my 50in Sony LCD. It is slowly getting, what looks like a blue "sunrise" coming up from the bottom of the screen. Sometimes, it is more pronouced than other times. The TV is about 4 years old and has always worked GREAT ! I'm in the communications repair business myself and hoping to replace or repair this problem myself.

Please help and / or point me to a website or link that could help me....

Many thanks !
