I have a similar problem with my magnavox 47MF437B LCD TV. Phillips/Magnavox rep told me they have never seen the problem and then told me days later they have seen the menu pop up problem (I actually did not have that happen) but they said it is related to the channel changing. I origanally thought it was the source changing on me but now realize it was the LCD channel. They told me that it was a bad video circuit board. It is under warrenty for me so I am greatful for that.
I will let you know what happens. |

It is possible that you have a leaky switch. Try removing the channel switch and see if problem goes away  |

this set keeps changing channels and main menu comes up on screen
service mode dosent help would appreciate any help |
