| You would need to replace the motherboard on the laptop. Even if you could replace just the video chip, where are you going to get it?

| On startup the laptop beeps 2 short 1 long, pause and then 3 short beeps.
Google points to "video fails to intialize", i.e. videochip failure. Is there a way to replace the chip? Anyone has any experience with this very common Tecra S1 problem? Thanks. |
