Vertical output amplifier may also be faulty. Usually some TDAxxxx chip. Not very expensive thing. |

REPLACE ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS IN FRAME STAGE, WITH AGE THE CAPS FALL IN VALUE. AS THEY WARM UP THE VALUE WILL INCREASE. |

My 21" philips TV at home when switched on, starts with almost half of the screen (bottom half) blacked out. Then the black portion's height gradually reduces and after some hours i get to see a proper screen.
Please let me know that the problem could be.
