You need 2 resistors smd 0,3 ohm. Cut last 5 cm cable /output/ and conect. |

You replied to a post that was 2 years old. I doubt if he still needs it. |

Hey,
Do you still need that info? I have a power supply like which is dead. I can take a picture. I don't have a registration here, so if you still need it, shoot me an email at tranquilizator at gmail dot com |

Hi all.
I have a problem with a PPP009H (HP's number: 384019-002), it's a SMPS PSU for
a hp/Compaq nx6310 laptop.
The SMPS was dead, i found out that the reason was a short circuit in the coaxial
cable that feeds the laptop. I repaired it, but it's still dead.
On further investigation i found 2 burnt resistors, probably acting like a shunt
for the SMPS in order to measure the output current.
Since they are burnt, the markings of the resistors has ascended to the electronic heaven...
So, i would like help with identifying the value of these resistors (R30A and R30B
in the enclosed pic), if someone out there has a corresponding SMPS or an electric drawing to look at.
