i noticed a few components are not fitted c29 was one if it doesn't work you may need to fit the missing components i hope you have no problems and happy new year from this side of the pond  |

I tried Radio Shack, but they had nothing even close. There's a place locally called Ra-Elco that is like your Grandfather's attic with every bit of electronic junk you could imagine, but no luck there either. |

| I'm working a project to upgrade digital multi-track recorder with an IDE hard drive. The device is years old and no longer supported by the vendor. When it was new you could send it to the factory and they would solder in a 50 pin laptop IDE hard drive header and install a 2.5 in hard drive. The attached pictures shows what I'm looking for. I'm not really sure what the exact name is, I call it a header only because that is how it is described in the factory service manual. Any help pointing me to a supplier, a part number or just how to go about finding this part would be greatly appreciated.   [/img] |
