|
hi all,
i recently got ripped off on ebay with a dodgy tds210 scope and dont know if ill get my money back so im looking at a repair(oh no!)
tek want £400 to repair which is £50 more than i paid for it so im not keen on that. its the voltage scaling on one channel thats playing up. its fine upto 2V/DIV but when i go upto 5V/DIV then it goes haywire and goes from the correct 5volts reading to off the scale and wont come back in until 50V/DIV it then reads 110V for a 5V signal im assuming from what others have said that perhaps the input resitor network is damaged. i have looked at all the setting and its not setting related as far as i know as it wont even read properly on autoset.
i would love to hear from somebody with experiance repairing this sort of thing or where i could get a schematic.
many thanks
