You mean DVRS150 . Used to see them. Based on your description, it needs the dvd mechanism replaced (could be laser or spindle motor which is not available seperate). While it is rather easy to do, not something for the avearge consumer to tackle. No doubt you paid a good chunk to buy it new but, just like everything else, it is uneconomical to relace the mech.----consumer electronics is the pits either way you look at it  |

| DVD Player skips - - - sometimes it reads and does not recognize a disk, sometimes it reads and goes to menu buth then skips repeatedly. My guess is possible problems with the DVD Reader but not sure if the problem can be easily remedied or will it require more intrusive service. | |
