| The blue and green tubes have algae growing in them. They are filled with glyglocal alcohol. You pull the tubes out, take the lens's off, drain them, clean them out, and refill them and your picture will be good again.

| Hello i have a 60inch philips projection t.v i had this t.v for almost 10 years now,my ? is the pictures is not that sharp any more . Thats understandable because its getting old, but you can still see the picture
is there any way that i can be able to bring back the clarity.Do i need to replaced any parts like for instance the clear-vu'lens or the cathode ray tube.Any suggestion i love this t.v ,i say the clrity is about 75-80% by the way the model # is8p6044c101 philips magnavox. Thank You, Eric  |
