Minnie, I checked the flyback transformer your way then mine. I am going to confirm possible bad windings with my ohm meter tonight. Will let you all know later. |

Forget the ic for now. Unplug one of the leads from the splitter and listen for arching. The true why would be with a high voltage probe. |

The high voltage divider is the black thing with three leads going to each picture tube. |

Minnie I checked voltages on IH01. Readings are as follows:1=10.08v,2=11.62v,3=0v,4=2.47v,5=1.59v,6=10.5v,7=0v,8=0v,9=.027v,10=.041v,11=.041v,12=4.94v,13=.055v,14=2.02v,15=4.9v,16=0v . This part looks like a prom from an automotive computer. According to a voltage table I have on page 77 of the manual, the voltages are way off. What do you think? |

I don't think they are. This set was working fine , then picture blinked off for a second and then it cut out completely. Day later picture would stay on for aprox. 20 min. and cut out. The red led does not blink protection . I have been following flowchart for no raster . |
