DEAR FRIENDS

i have a problem with my technics hifi . Athough the red led is on when in
stand standby, when you press the power on button, the system which has
seperate pieces does not start up. A friend told me that it is the stk chip
of the amplifier that creates that problem, Does anyone know something
about it;
