I have a 10-12 year old Pioneer SDP4573K rear projection TV that I recently acquired. It did not come with an original remote or the user's manual. Our universal remote seems to work, except when you access the menu there seems to be no way to navigate or select the menu items.

Can anyone help? Any suggestions?

Buying a OEM replacement remote is not an option as they are $200 - 500 online. The TV isn't worth that.
