I'm also having this problem. tv shuts of, power light blinking. used to be able to unplug/replug and get it working but that does not work anymore. Opened up back of tv, pulled out power supply board(is on pastic stand. Also pulled out bottom board under it. Checked a few things with an ohm meter. everything checked good. Tried what was writen above, by unpluging plug marked with pin 8 "protect" Tv powers up but no lights on the front or anything on the screen. Pluged it back in, and just get 2 clicks. Sounds like that relay is kicking on, then kicking back off. Not to sure what else to try. Get get a tech out here to check it out, and truck is broke now, so can't bring it to im iether. any advise would be great. to nice to junk.

tried to get to it ,got a nice poke .should unplug first  gave up after that .try again tomorrow |

| Look on the left board under the power supply and look for the connector labeled protect it's about 7/8 pins unplug it and see if the set comes on. |
