Either the eprom is defective OR it's DATA has been corrupted. On some units, you could use a computer w/null modem cable & connector to upload the data while others required a specific CD disc only available thru pioneer service---either way, more likely cheaper to get another player. |

I've looked through the Service manual and cannot find any references to FLASH RD.
The closest I can find is FLASH ID
FLASH ID
Difference in versions of the internal ROM of the system controller and of the flash ROM, or bus line failure or reverse installation
No operation
I'm certain what this means, perhaps someone with a little more knowledge may do. |

I have a pioneer dvd 525 and in the screen indicates FLASH RD and nothing else ,can anyone suggest somethink |
