Behind the audio/video jack is a metal can, it will say MVPU14 on the top. The 4 legs from the bottom need to be unsoldered and that can removed. There are 11 caps that need to be replaced or you can send it to PTS.

Subject: MVPU14 Hyper Module Repair (23148024 / 23148024P / 23148024X)
Symptom: Multiple Symptoms may be experienced depending on which capacitor is
faulty. The primary symptoms are jagged, digitized or pie crusting of the
picture. The set may also be described with a poor sync condition.
Corrective Action: Remove the MVUP14 Hyper Module from the TV chassis, remove
the top shield and replace the 10uf, 16v capacitors using Part Number
24619040 as shown in Figure 1. It’s recommended that all of the
capacitors identified in Figure 1 be replaced. (Note: These capacitors are
low impedance surface mounted aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Care
should be taken to avoid damaging the PCB while replacing these
capacitors.)

I just bought a used toshiba 50h72. The picture is "scrolling" to the side. When I first turn it on, it's real bad, but as the tv warms up, it gets a little better, but does not completely fix. What is the problem. What can I do so that I don't have to pay outrageously for it to be fixed?
