Poking around inside a TV set when you don't know what you're doing is a recipe for disaster. Are you aware that you can get a nasty shock even with the power off and unglugged? Your best bet is to take it to somone who does know what their doing.

Hi,

I would appreciate some advice please.

I have a C2886TN with a fault where the picture takes a long time to come on. I found the fault detailed on this site //www.eserviceinfo.com/repair_tips.php?search_rt=N/A

Hitachi C2886TN A7 Pic takes long time to appear Change R896,R897 & R898 from 150R TO 220R & set A1 to 147v at green Tr cath plamensl 14-09-2004

I'm not a technician and so do not understand how to change 150R to 220R or set A1 to 147v.

However i do have the schematics and found R896-R898 on the schematics.

I am able to solder and I have a multimeter. If someone could tell me how to apply the fix then i'd be very grateful.

Many thanks
