| Thankyou so much my TV is now unlocked, not that I know how it got locked in the first place!!! I was suprised to see how many others had the same problem, I think it must be the child lock although it has fooled so many of us adults!! Thanks again. |

I found the manual for this TV as mine was locked too. What you have to do, and I hope this information is not too late, is while holding down the "F" button press the mute button then press the on button. This can be done only by remote control though.
This is great advice, we bought ours second hand for the kids room so had absolutely no idea of what little hands could cause and no manual. Thankyou. |

store where you bought the set and ask the sales person to
check the book on one of the display sets |
