| I was given a apex 51in projection tv and the only thing wrong is that i can't adjust the red convergence. The blue works fine but when i try to line up the red it doesn't even move what could be wrong. |

sounds like convergence.
might have a bad amp there. replace them both. |

I'm working on an APEX model GB5108 rear projection television. The red picture is pinched slightly on the left side. I can adjust the convergence on the blue and green guns properly in the service menu. The red gun will adjust horizontally (skew, linearity, amplitude) but will not adjust at all in field skew and field keystone (KRV1, KRV2).
Is this a problem in the convergence circuit, the red gun CRT drive board, or the red gun VM board? I haven't found any visible defects (burnt components).
