without the schematic can't tell you but as far as protection for DC on the outputs, it is usually monitored by one or two txistors & sent in as a signal to protection pin on the main micro. I am not sure about your specific model but, most will flash "protect" on the display if/when in protect mode. |

Not familiar with the specific model but the blinking LED with Sony's compact audio systems(too many models) is almost always a power supply problem.--NOT an audio o/p IC problem. If you monitor your standby, you will notice it being erratic because of too much AC component. You are likely to have one or several dried up electrolytics in power supply.--used to see it all the time. |

| [b] Basically, the problem is that the led indicator is always turn on and off continously. I alreday check the Protect signal and I think it is the problem, but really I don´t know where this signal cames. I already have replaced the Audio output IC but the problem still is present.
Do you have any suggest?? BR |
