probable ram/digital pcb failure, these are classed as none repairable items and have to be replaced as a pair as the ram drive settings are stored on the digital pcb, very expensive repair, return it to where you bought it from, when you get the estimate for the repair ring panasonic customer services and explain the situation and they will probably authorise the supplier to repair it under warranty. if you bought it from the internet you will find the supplier wont be interested and you will have to find a local Panasonic DSN dealer.

Panasonic DVD Recorder Model dmr-ex75.
On start up, it simply won't work! - The LED display simply keeps flashing 'Please Wait'. It make a little click every 20 seconds or so like it's trying to do something, but it doesn't. I tried holding a few buttons down to see if that would do someting, & once I got "099" on the display, but after pressing a few more buttons it disapeared as quick as it arrived.

Any idea's what could be wrong? - It's 16 months old.
