In case of a PC motherboard where the bios eprom is soldered, there is usually a protected area of the eprom that cannot usually be corrupted, which contains a recovery bios code, not enough to startup the motherboard in the conventional way but enough to load a correct bios file from some kind of media (diskette, USB stick etc) and reprogram the bios eprom.

Begin with studying the manual for the motherboard and any relevant information that can be found on the motherboard manufacturer's website.

Unless this kind of recovery is possible, the easiest way is to de-solder the eprom and connect it to a programmer.

you can always solder cables on pins and do a hot swap that way.
