Surely a replacement board is not cost effective, it will cost more than the whole tv is worth. (expecially being a Sony). Can you give me any info that would be helpful i.e. From where in the lop stage is the lt line for the frame chip. What fuseable resistor supplys it. |

I've been replacing the whole board. Sony's suck to trouble shoot to component level. |

I UNDERSTAND THAT THE 4 BLINKS OF THE STANDBY LED DENOTES A FAULT IN THE VERTICAL DEFLECTION CIRCUIT. I HAVE REPLACED THE VERTICAL OP I/C (TDA 7497) WHICH HAS NOT MADE ANY DIFFERENCE. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH FURTHER SUGGESTIONS? |
