Surely a replacement board is not cost effective, it will cost more than the whole tv is worth. (expecially being a Sony).
Can you give me any info that would be helpful i.e. From where in the lop stage is the lt line for the frame chip. What fuseable resistor supplys it.

I've been replacing the whole board. Sony's suck to trouble shoot to component level.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THE 4 BLINKS OF THE STANDBY LED DENOTES A FAULT IN THE VERTICAL DEFLECTION CIRCUIT. I HAVE REPLACED THE VERTICAL OP I/C (TDA 7497) WHICH HAS NOT MADE ANY DIFFERENCE.
CAN ANYONE HELP WITH FURTHER SUGGESTIONS?
