| I havent got any picture or sound, I notice alot of covergence problems are down to ic chip but would this be in my case. Is there a way of performing a diagnostic? Why does the light flash 5 times? Anyone know? Thanks |

| Probably convergence IC's or look for fluid leakage on the boards. |

Hi guys hope someone can shed some light on my prob. Have a SP42W5HFX samsung rear projection. Was working fine but when i went to switch it on one day, nothing! It powers up the screen flashes for a split second then the standby light flashes 5 times and thats it 
Is that some sort of code to tell me whats wrong? Any ideas much appreciated.
