A mobile phone is similar to a two-way radio in this aspect. Typically, a such radio's receiver needs about 0,2 - 0,5 uV from the antenna to get useable reception but in most cases, signal levels are much higher.

For a mobile phone, you can assume that the received signal level, measured at the interface between the antenna and the receiver, usually lies between 0,5 uV and 100 mV. The receiver's input impedance is typically 50 ohms, so with that information you can easily calculate any current or power levels that are of interest in your case.

Note that those figures are valid for analog mobile systems or GSM, that are relatively narrow-band. For UMTS and other 2,5G or 3G systems, the receiver will have less sensitivity due to the larger noise bandwidth. For details, please refer to the system standards that can be found at www.etsi.org .

Hi,

But while receiving the signals, the mobile handset should b receiving certain voltage or current, i like to know that,

how much is the CURRENT / VOLTAGE level which is received by mobile phone while receiving the signals.

It's not voltage, it's RF off a cell tower or GPS.

Hi,

I like to know that how much VOLTAGE is received by mobile phone while receiving/sending the signals from/to BTS(antennas).

kindly note :- provide answer in voltage not in DB.
