How many times does the red light blink? 9 times is the error for the G board. Sony tells you to solder the G board but everyone I've had to replace the board. If you can still find it. |

I called a tech and he was really creepy, would not give me a breakdown of what he quoted, said it had to do with the powersupply, wanted $600 to fix, would not say how much was labor and how much was parts.
I ordered the gboard from Sony since I found out that's where the power supply is located, we are hoping we can just replace that board. Anyone have any suggestions?
The problem is that when you turn the tv on you hear a click, like if it was going to turn on, but it doesn't. The led light that says standby stays lit (red) but nothing else happens. Sony has troubleshoot it over the phone and nothing works.
