| Your TV problem is at horizontal synchronization and can repair. If you have schematic, you can see at micro IC, there's a pin for horizontal synchronization input, follow the link to that pin and you will find some component like Q, R and C, usually those little components can be troublemaker.  |

| I have an old philips 28pw6515/05. The on screen display is intermittently flickering up down the screen at speed, so it is not possible to read the OSD for the menu to alter settings. The problem also seems to effect Teletext such that when occuring teletext becomes jumbled and distorted and totally unreadable. Has anyone had this problem before and is it repairable? I was recently made redundant so I can't afford a new TV. Many thanks in advance. |
