Unless you have some sort of experience with mechanisms, it is probably not going to be easy. As far as buying another unit, your best bet is to first try to figure out what brand is it and see if there may be a compatible model?
Perhaps a doge truck forum may get a better response.

Fellas my CD changer jammed a few weeks ago. Its out of a 2004 dodge truck, 6 disc changer.
I took it apart last night. There were some disc-like springs that separate the CDs floting around inside the changer. They seemed to have jammed some of the mechanical parts. I've got two questions:
1. Do you think I can repair this thing(can you tell me how)?
2. Is there a replacement changer that I could buy without buying a whole new radio?

I figured this forum would be the place to ask, I'm sure you guys know all sorts of parts suppliers for electronics.

If you need anymore info to help me out just let me know.
