With that kind of attitude and your lack of manners, the only advice I can give you is to spring for a new printer rather than patch together a 25 year old product where parts are most likely non existant anyhow. |

I already have the manual and it is no help. What I am looking for is some help on replacing the rear paper path (with wheel), not a sales pitch.
I have since discovered that a small piece of plastic has broken off that must hold the wheel assembly in. I can glue this if I can figure out how it fits and where the spring belongs.
Any help?? |

|
Hi,
Some how the rear paper path assembly (with the wheel for rear or upper paper path) fell out of my HP4p printer - probably during a jam cleaning. I have the assembly but can't get it to stay in place. There is a spring on the left hand side of the rear door. I don't know the proper location for this and that maybe the only problem. There seems only one way to install the assembly - the plastic protrusions on the right and left belong in the holes and then the right hand (from rear) spring belongs somewhere on the plastic tab. But how?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
