sounds stupid but its worth checking in the vcr menu to make sure SQPB is set to auto and not set to on, |

Do try checking the screening on power supply, and grounding of the screen, plus screening of the dvd laser unit. or else all areas of HT.
another screening is of the cabling from the video heads. |

Hello!
I have a Panasonic DRM-ES30 DVD-VHS with a problem.
When i play a video on the vcr i have lots of dropouts in the picture.
The brighter the picture the more dropouts.
It looks like "satellitesparks" if you have a satellitedish not properly adjusted to the satellite.
On a darker picture the sparks is a lot fewer, almost nothing.
If i record a video and playback on a different vcr, then the picture is ok.
The sound is ok at all times, no distorsion or flutter.
I have cleaned the videodrum and controlhead but to no improvement.
The groundwire between vcr-mechanic and PCB is ok.
Does anyone know what causes this?
Thank You. |
