When you go to select signal type (antenna/cable, etc) and auto program stations it should ask you "analog" / "digital" . |

While Orion brand is sold in the US, there is no such a thing as a "digital switch"inside the TV.
Usually, there should be some indication such as "Digital Tuner" or "ATSC Tuner" listed in the owners manual. |

Have you tried reading the owner's manual?
What about the manufacturer's website?
This switch to digital is only in the USA. I don't even think Orion is even sold in the US. Although I may be wrong on that.

How do I find out if my TV has a switch to digital?
I have been reading about the analog to digital switch and it sounds like some TV's made in the last year or two may have a switch to digital, so that you don't need the converter box.
My TV is a FTV2701A (Orion 27" MTS) - I just found your site and thought someone might know. I tried to look up that model when I came across this site.
Thanks for your time and help. |
