When you go to select signal type (antenna/cable, etc) and auto program stations it should ask you "analog" / "digital" .

While Orion brand is sold in the US, there is no such a thing as a "digital switch"inside the TV.
Usually, there should be some indication such as "Digital Tuner" or "ATSC Tuner" listed in the owners manual.

Have you tried reading the owner's manual?
What about the manufacturer's website?

This switch to digital is only in the USA. I don't even think Orion is even sold in the US. Although I may be wrong on that.

How do I find out if my TV has a switch to digital?

I have been reading about the analog to digital switch and it sounds like some TV's made in the last year or two may have a switch to digital, so that you don't need the converter box.

My TV is a FTV2701A (Orion 27" MTS) - I just found your site and thought someone might know. I tried to look up that model when I came across this site.

Thanks for your time and help.
