There are no wiring suggestions on the transformers or any where on the amplifier. I'm researching this amps schematics and manuals but no results yet. |

I'll check the yellow transformer lables tonight. I have an old Bogen PA and it clearly gives the speaker ohm selection on the screw terminals. This Dukane mearly has a 1-6 terminal.

Do the yellow labels on the transformer below the speaker terminals tell anything about the speaker connections, speaker impedances etc?
Such commercial amplifiers are often designed for a high-impedance speaker line (for instance, 400 ohms), in order to be useful for sites with very long speaker cabling. In those cases, each speaker has to be connected via a suitable matching transformer.
Regarding the input, chances are good that the amplifier will accept conventional line level (0 dBm or -10 dBm) connected between the IN and COM terminals.
Try a google search to find some manuals or other information about it, i see that there are many threads of this model of amplifier in other forums. Possibly it might also be worth contacting the manufacturer although they don't seem to have any manual posted on their website. |
