| if you have a variable power supply, try putting about 3v to the spindle motor and see if it turns easily. if not it is probably the motor if it does it may be the motor driver ic, which is easily recognizable because it has a heat sink in the middle of the ic. |

Hi again
I have a alpine cde-9850i with a cd problem.It tries to read disc,then cd error is displayed.Replaced lazer but cd still not working .laer tries to focus and disc dose not spin.Any help will do .Thanks |
