Not sure of the relay capabilities and load requirments of use but something like the link below may be more appropriate providing the amperage/wattage rating of the unit is higher than the load of the device you are connecting it to.

im stupid when it coes to electronics so ill ask u guys and u email me ur responses cheers

its all together but the only other electronic thermostat i have controls the temperature of my tarantulas tank so i need a mains going in and socket like connection coming out. how can i do this if i can
