Ok, so I have posted way too freaking much Very Happy , but I am excited to have a lead on this project again!!! One last question (for now) would I be able to use something like this?

These images are the relay(right?). Power Relay 2 amp 10 volts DC I believe. I don't know what 6k -1.5 means. I have no continuity anywhere. The other relay tested fine. So I take it a replacement is in order. Are there any related components I should check? Thanks again.

Thank you very much! I wasn't sure I'd ever get a response that would help. Smile If I could I just want clarification. I am to test for continuity WHILE the relay is energized, right?

to check for voltage, continuity, obvious signs of shorting, etc. I know
what a diode does, resistors, capacitors, simple components.

I can fix simple stuff, but this is beyond me...any ideas?

You need to check the correct contact in the relays (they are little black square boxes in the electronic card) Use a 12 volt battery to energize the coil and with your continuity tester (ohmmeter) check the function. Of course, you need to take out them from the card to check them.
If you energize the coil and no continuity in the plates, then you need to smooth the contact-points of the plates.

Doesn't a UPS supply you from the power unless the supply voltage is too high/too low, then it switches to power trim/boost? Sometimes there is a program on the computer for setting up the UPS. I am not familiar with your brand.
