| It sounds like the technician's assessment is accurate. Many TVs have a test mode that can sometimes be exited with a specific remote code. You can usually find these codes in the TV's user manual or by searching online for your TV model along with "test mode exit code." Good luck! |

ok vizio told me that the "Test mode" i was referring to was actally called "burn-in" mode. before i try a scaler card, any other ideas why my tv would by stuck in "burn-in" mode, even after i have replaced the main board?

| Unplug the tv overnight,you cant put this tv in service mode with remote.If unplugging it doesnt work,you need a scaler board, |

My tv is stuck rotating from a "red, blue, and green" screen and I had a tech come out and he said that it appears to be stuck in factory "test mode." His recommendation is that either the board needs to be replaced or that entering a particular combination on the remote (code) might be able to pull the tv out of "test mode." Does anyone know if this sounds accurate and if so where I could find these codes to try and pull the tv out of test mode?
