| Hi,
That's part of the problem. I don't have the schematics for this unit but I did check the portion of the circuit which I suspect is the pincushion area and did not find anything wrong. So,I can't know for sure if I have checked the correct circuitry without the schematics. Can you help? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello,
I am working on a 29" Panasonic TV model TC-29P80K. Initially the unit came with a shorted HOT and damper diode. I got the exact match for the HOT but had to substitute the damper with a BY228 (Original damper was a RH3F). Now unit powers up fine but I have a very serious pincushion problem. Tried changing capacitors in the horizontal area but no change. I'm thinking that I need to enter the service menu to solve the pincushion problem. Can anyone tell me how to enter the service menu for this model or do have any other suggestions to solve the pincushion problem. Your assistance is much appreciated Thank you |
