|
Gents,
We have a Philips 32PF which is about 3 years old and has developed a fault with regards being operated by the remote.
Initially, the buttons on the remote seemed to go intermittent...Changed the batteries, but still no joy.
Eventually remote stopped working altogether, so bought a new universal remote only to find that did not work either. Took the existing Philips remote into Curries and then another TV shop and both tested it and advised it was working ok, so the issue seems to be with the set.
Problem is, using the buttons on the side of the set only seems to allow access to a very restricted set of features on the TV.
I have now got the TV stuck in the initial "welcome mode" and can't move it on as I can't click "OK" on remote
If I can get a reasonable range of features from the set side buttons, I am happy to do with out the remote...
Any ideas or recommendations?
Regards,
Peter |
