Your documentation IF you have it the AV Audio is line level and is the Red and White RCA color coded jacks, for each channel, BTW DO NOT plug into the Yellow Video Jack, unless you are sending a Video Signal to a video source Input and Output you need to have it correctly set up .

nice thing about the legacy AV stuff there generally shopuld be a label or stamped into the plastic case L R and Video and the RCA Jacks are color keyed unless you are attempting a HDMI Cable Format , I have not ventured yet into HDMI yet.

Unless you are attempting to change from Analog Signal to HDMI signal, then you will need to find a adaptor ( not Cheap ! ) I would reccomend a meta crawler search for additional info and the place to buy an item.

Hope this helps. Wink

I have a Phillips Magnavox TP 3267 with audio output jacks

I have a Sony receiver X O 5

What do I need to check before plugging those outputs into the input jacks of the stereo receiver?

I cannot find the manuals for either the receiver or the TV.

Thanks
