I'm pretty sure this TV doesn't have IC's, it's all done manually on the convergence board and I haven"t seen any IC chips any were.

Sounds like your convergence IC's crapped out.

In most cases the tabs will only center the image on the tube.

If you can slide the yoke in or out on the neck of the tube this will change the size. If you can't compensate that way then you have to check the circuits related to the yoke .Also you could have a defective yoke. To check that, swap the yoke connector with one of the colors, and see if the green gets full scan.If not it is most likely the yoke.

Good luck

Does the tabs on the yokes have anything to do with changing the size of the picture? Cause I have a projection tv that the convergence knobs got knock out of alignment and the green tube use to be perfectly scanned before this happened, but now I cant get the green picture tube to fill the screen and I now have a black boarder around the screen. I turned the knob that does the horizontal and it doesnt fill the screen and there aint no vertical Knob on the board.

Anyone know of why I cant get the green tube to fill the screen now? I only messed with the knobs on the convergence board and the tabs on the yoke, and as far as I know the blue and red can still scan out more.
