| If when you press open does a motor noise come ,if so the belt is either broken or as come of .not familiar with this deck it may not use a belt but gears instead |

| i'm sure minnie meant a stripped gear, and if you have to ask what that is, you probably shouldn't be messing with it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| When it opens pull on the tray. Sounds like a striped gear. |
