|
hello i got a nice free samsung lcd monitor from my brother sadly it has severe shadowing that trails across the screen. i have tried it on different computers/laptops and same result. it does not appear if i pull the vga cable out then it shows the monitor menu perfectly. if i press the buttons on the monitor and look at the menu when vga cable is attached and in windows/dos mode the shadowing is there! i have taken it apart and visually inspected both cards but no bulging caps and no solder issues. it seems to have one card for video and one for power. does anyone have any ideas?
