In many cases the LCD driver transistors are 'chip on film' devices, meaning that the components are heat-bonded to the ribbon cable that's part of the display. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that you cannot fix chip-on film devices....you cannot get the parts, and even if you could, you cannot swap components, as the lead spacing is too small and unless you can solder under a microscope, you cannot replace parts. |

| i have an lg RZ-42px11 (42v6) it has 1 vertical line right hand side of centre picture good , sound ok. tried changing ctrl b/d but still the same ,tried changing left x b/d but still the same. followed manual for testing diodes on strip but did nt get readings they indicated. can some please help and is this problem fixable P.S does any body know what the LEDs on cntrl b/d represent(D17,D10,D11,D12,D13) |
