| key guys, I tore into that converter box 2 day and found 2 voltage regulaters bad, now i need 2 find some parts can anyone help ? I need a ( NTE 956 ) & ( ST LD11170V ). Joester you may need 2 check your 2. |

I was thinking the same thing. Upstate NY is not so warm these days...and the wind makes it brutal. |

| How are these boxes powered is it by a wall wart or mains into the box in the uk we use freeview boxes for digital terrestial lots of different designs but quite a few suffer from bad capacitors in the power supply .so check for bulging caps |

I haven't opened up mine yet (I will when time permits), but I wouldn't be surprised if it's all components not available to the average person.
