This sounds like a cracked solder connection on the power supply module.
I know there are lots of solder connections but the most common will be the large semiconductors (transistors, FET's, IC's). Use a very strong magnifing glass and good lighting. Look for hairline cracks around the solder joints and resolder. I had a Samsung 42" with exactly the same problem.

Your "Experienced easy fix repair" doesn't count on high mass numbers.

If you don't believe it, go to a local "Electronic Waste Recycling" and see......
or to a professional Repair Lab.

Then come Back to your "Fair easy Fix".

Indeed, when their light is going to be permanent in "off" state it's time to
trash them.

That's why we're going to have to start advertising TV's as " disposable," like BIC lighters. Laughing

1st, Does it have sound too, or does the sound come on after the "warm up"?

2nd, shine a very bright flash light into the screen while it's "warming up". Can you see an image there?

Possibly a bad inverter board.

Open the set up and check the power supply board for puffed electrolytics.
Thanks for the response . Ok checked , No puffed or burnt anything . All looks fine . One more side note , When it does finally does turn on the picture has a couple of lines off distortion fully across ot , But goes away too after it warms up .
